In 1966 OSVAH pharmaceutical company ex – IRAN MERCK , was established and authorized to manufacture pharmaceuticals , chemicals , laboratory reagents and veterinary products under licences from E. MERCK , and was put into operation in 1969 with an initial production capacity of approximately 18,500,000 units of coated and uncoated tablets per year.
